All his novels have martial arts elements to them. His characterization is second to none and he can really tell a story, really draws you in. I recommend "Gaijin". Since then she's toned down significantly, but not to the point of the first books. OTOH, it's usually easy to skip it. Book 6 of Dresden... Man, it's just starting.
