Daniel Ghita’s leg kick, Part Two

By

A while ago, I did a post on Daniel Ghita’s leg kick. In the video there, you can see how his leg kick has so much power, his opponent is knocked out with it in less than one round. Now Lascenko is no slouch, he can hold his own, but he’s just outclassed in this fight.

Anyway, I just stumbled on a video that shows the fight in slow motion:

It’s nice to get a chance to see a fight in slo-mo, so you can look at all the details in the technique, timing, etc. For best effect, look at the fight at normal speed first, and then slow motion. It’s a lot more fun this way.

Here’s another fight of his, against Sergei Kharitonov:

Once again, you can see how he uses the leg kick extremely well in his countering and with great timing. He does seem out of shape though, gassing in the second round. But his leg kick still has plenty of power, more than enough to finish it off.
