Fedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum
ByFedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum was a long anticipated Strikeforce fight and it took place yesterday. I like Fedor’s fighting style, always have. He’s no-nonsense and stays ice-cold. What’s not to like?
But the way he rushed into Werdum’s guard here seemed reckless to me. I think he’s experienced enough to avoid getting tangled up like this. So to me it’s an unfortunate way to lose the fight, especially after he seemed to be getting the better of Fabricio when they traded blows.
Looking forward to the rematch…
I am not sure Fedor’s heart is in it any more. Just my opinion. I watched his last fight, too. He seems like he wants to be somewhere else. He has nothng to prove. Fighting just for the money isn’t good enough. He should follow is heart.
Could be, he’s been on top for a long time.

It’s difficult to tell whether fedor is interested or not as he always looks the same, and even at his most animated he hardly looks bothered. Although I bet it’s a bit different on the receiving end of his strikes, I bet he seems interested then!
He made a major error in this fight, he clearly though he could finish it from Verdums guard but he coudln’t.
I agree Wim the rematch should be a good watch, can’t see him amking the same mistake.
