Monkey and Cat MMA fight
ByA monkey and a cat have a MMA fight in Thailand… This fight has it all:
- Good footwork by the monkey.
- Solid use of the “cage” by hanging on to the side of the bench.
- Using the cat’s weakness against it with the “Monkey Grabs Tail From Heaven” technique.
- Some nice arm techniques with quick jabs and looping strikes.
- A great attempt by the monkey of putting a guillotine choke on.
- Excellent groundwork: side-mount, half guard. The monkey has some moves!
- The cat pretty much gets owned…
What we can all be most grateful for is that the monkey never got to his version of the mount position. Even though I thought he was going for it a couple times…

The monkey’s biggest mistake was to use the “Bob Patterson Dirty Diaper” technique.
Great to see how relaxed they both were in their movements, and flowing from one to the other….
I think the cat threw the match ..money might have changed hands before the match !!
You know what? Given the poor performance of the cat, you might be on to something here… :-)
